Basic version is for educational purposes in order to explain and visualize the main features of the software concept by using an example tree.
This basic version can be upgradet to the Professional, Expert and Scientific versions, offering more features and parameter settings.

The goal of this mobile application is providing professional arborists and experts with a tool allowing to determine the strength loss due to decay and other damages in cross sections (trunk/branch) as well as for the root plate and to then estimate the size of eventually required crown reduction for lowering wind load - based on a comparison of wind-load and load carrying capacity, for finally achieving sufficient safety. On the spot / at the tree.
All this can be achieved without the use of any diagnostic equipment, just by visual assessment and evaluation - not as precise as done with technical equipment, but sufficient for many cases.
However, results from a resistance drill, sonic tomograph or root-assessment can be implemented in order to enhance precision.
